The AKUSTIKABSORBER FD range consists of acoustic absorption panels made from Type F fire-resistant polyurethane foam (M1 fire reaction classification), covered with a beige microperforated PVC facing. The facing allows sound to penetrate into the foam, preserving its acoustic absorption properties whilst protecting the material against dust, abrasion and airborne particles.
The microperforated PVC film provides a balance between surface protection and acoustic transparency, allowing the material to maintain good sound absorption at medium and high frequencies. It is particularly suitable for technical rooms, acoustic enclosures and machinery interior linings. The fire-resistant foam also makes the product suitable for environments requiring certified fire performance.
The beige outer finish gives FD a clean appearance, making it particularly suitable for visible applications where good aesthetic integration is required without compromising acoustic performance or surface resistance. Installation is straightforward, and the product can be supplied with technical self-adhesive backing or in customised formats.
