The AKUSTIKABSORBER FI range consists of acoustic panels manufactured from Type F fire-resistant polyurethane foam with a glass fibre facing on the exposed surface. This technical finish protects the foam against mechanical wear, dust and other contaminants whilst allowing sound to penetrate into the absorbent core, maintaining good sound absorption at medium and high frequencies.

Thanks to its construction, FI provides a good balance between acoustic performance and surface resistance, making it particularly suitable for technical, electrical and industrial environments requiring a robust, fire-resistant finish. Installation is straightforward, and the product is available in different thicknesses and configurations, with an optional technical self-adhesive backing for easier installation.

Although it does not incorporate a heavy mass layer or intermediate layers, FI provides an effective solution for internal acoustic treatment, reducing sound reflections and reverberation and improving speech intelligibility in enclosed spaces, whilst meeting fire-safety requirements.
