The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® height adjustment systems are designed to facilitate the precise levelling and alignment of machinery or marine engines installed on anti-vibration mounts. They allow the height of each mounting point to be adjusted to compensate for differences in level and ensure correct positioning of the equipment.
Depending on the configuration, different bolting and fixing kits are available to suit the mount characteristics, adjustment requirements and any thrust loads present in the installation.
For equipment requiring precise alignment, particularly engine-transmission assemblies, it is recommended that the mounts remain under load for at least 48 hours before final alignment, allowing the elastomer to stabilise.
The use of a high-performance thread-locking adhesive on threaded assemblies may also be recommended to prevent loosening and improve installation security.
