The AKUSTIKABSORBER PD BLACK is an acoustic absorption panel designed for applications requiring reduction of reflected noise in enclosed spaces, combined with a dark finish providing visual uniformity and a discreet appearance. It is manufactured from open-cell polyurethane foam covered with a smooth black PVC film, providing light protection against dust, ambient moisture and minor mechanical contact.
The black PVC finish maintains good sound absorption at medium and high frequencies, whilst its discreet appearance makes it particularly suitable for machinery interiors, technical cabins, electrical cabinets and areas where the panel remains visible, especially where light-coloured or reflective finishes are undesirable. Its surface also facilitates cleaning and helps extend the service life of the panel in industrial and technical environments.
PD BLACK does not have fire-retardant properties and is therefore intended for environments without specific reaction-to-fire requirements, where improved acoustic comfort and a dark technical finish are required.
