AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Reinforced Elastomeric Springs are manufactured from rubber reinforced with an internal textile mesh, which controls elastomer deformation and provides a high load capacity while retaining the inherent damping properties of rubber.
Unlike conventional metal springs, their metal-free construction provides excellent corrosion resistance, making them particularly suitable for humid, corrosive or outdoor environments.
The elastomer also provides high inherent damping, helping to reduce vibrations and shocks as well as dynamic amplification near resonance. Their robust construction provides a long service life with very little maintenance.
These springs can be used as an alternative to steel coil springs, particularly on vibrating screens, conveyors, industrial machinery and equipment subjected to high dynamic loads.

Low natural frequencies provide excellent isolation of forced frequencies. Using these type of products will also provide major noise and vibration reduction in the equipment being used, therefore increasing equipment lifespan.
The reinforced elastomeric springs have a recommended working temperature range of -40°C to +75°.
