AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Sandwich Mounts are designed to provide a balanced combination of high vertical stiffness and high lateral elasticity, delivering excellent vibration isolation in equipment subjected to significant static loads. Their construction consists of two metal plates bonded to an intermediate layer of high-quality natural rubber, allowing the elastomer to operate in pure compression, thereby increasing the assembly’s vertical stiffness and load capacity.
In certain versions, the mounts include additional intermediate plates that further increase vertical stiffness without affecting the elastomer’s shear performance, maintaining high lateral flexibility to optimise vibration isolation. Thanks to this design, Sandwich Mounts provide a robust, reliable and durable solution for metal structures and static industrial machinery where structural stability and effective vibration isolation are required.
