The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® SCHR anti-vibration mounts consist of two rubber elements, one of which incorporates an internal metal sleeve to guide the fixing bolt.
The mount is installed directly into a machined hole in the chassis. When tightened, the rubber elements are pre-compressed, with the chassis thickness “T” determining the level of pre-compression and ensuring a stable and secure installation.
Compared with the standard SCH mount, the SCHR incorporates metal reinforcement around the mounting hole, protecting the elastomer against fatigue caused by friction with the chassis. This design improves the durability of the mount, particularly in applications subjected to vibration, shock and repeated dynamic loads.
To ensure correct operation, the chassis thickness T and mounting hole diameter must comply with the values specified in the technical table.
The SCH mounts must be installed according to the following installation instructions:
They can be installed in plates of different thicknesses according to the Tmax and Tmin values given in the table at the bottom.
The Load vs. Deformation curves will vary according to the thickness of the plate on which the mount is to be installed.
