The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® TF anti-vibration mounts consist of two symmetrically shaped moulded elastomer elements, designed to operate effectively under both tensile and compressive loads, with similar stiffness characteristics in both directions.
The pre-compressed installation enables the mount to maintain controlled elastic behaviour when the direction of the load changes, making it particularly suitable for equipment subjected to vibration, shock and multidirectional dynamic loads.
The two elements are assembled with metal safety washers, creating a fail-safe configuration that limits excessive movement and provides mechanical retention of the equipment under severe loading conditions.
The level of pre-compression is determined by the chassis thickness at the mounting point. Correct dimensioning provides an optimum balance between vibration isolation, stability and mechanical safety.
