The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® 1V-SH Anti-Seismic Spring Mount is designed for equipment requiring high-performance low-frequency vibration isolation, combined with mechanical protection under seismic conditions.
With a static deflection of up to 50 mm (2 inches), the springs can achieve natural frequencies as low as 3 Hz, providing effective isolation for low-speed equipment or machinery generating very low-frequency vibration.
A Sylomer® layer complements the action of the springs by reducing the transmission of medium and high frequencies that may propagate through the steel springs. The combination of spring + Sylomer® therefore provides effective vibration isolation over a wide frequency range.
The spring mount also incorporates an integrated levelling system for precise equipment height adjustment and an anti-slip rubber base.
Under exceptional or seismic loads, the integrated seismic restraint system limits excessive equipment movement whilst allowing the movement required for effective vibration isolation under normal operating conditions.
The 1V-SH range is particularly suitable for HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, air handling units, pumps, fans, compressors and generator sets requiring high-performance very low-frequency vibration isolation.
The mounts are able to reach low natural frequencies from 2 to 5 Hz. The spring combined with sylomer® is able to provide high isolation at low and medium frequencies.
The curves are showing the deflection and natural frequencies according to the load of the spring. Temperature working range from -30 to 70º. Short term higher temperatures are possible.
