The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® V-SH springs are designed for applications requiring very low-frequency vibration isolation and a high level of vibratory decoupling.
With a static deflection of up to 50 mm (2 in), the springs provide natural frequencies as low as 3 Hz, ensuring effective isolation of equipment operating at low speeds or generating very low-frequency vibrations.
Manufactured from high-strength steel with an optimised geometry, the springs provide high stability, linear elastic behaviour and excellent durability under prolonged static and dynamic loads.
As an option, V-SH springs can be fitted with a Sylomer® base, which complements the action of the steel spring by reducing the transmission of mid and high frequencies that may propagate through the steel springs. The spring + Sylomer® combination therefore provides effective vibration isolation over a broad frequency range.
