The EP 400 + Sylomer® Resilient Wall Tie is designed for the acoustic decoupling of wall linings and their metal frames, helping to reduce the transmission of vibrations and structure-borne sound to the supporting structure.
Its design combines two Sylomer® resilient elements with a metal bracket, allowing simple fixing of the frame while providing effective resilient decoupling. The wall tie can operate under tension, compression and shear, making it particularly suitable for the different loads encountered in acoustic wall lining systems.
Its robust, fail-safe metal construction provides secure fixing and good mechanical strength. The Sylomer® provides optimised dynamic behaviour, effectively reducing vibration transmission between the wall lining and the supporting wall.
