INFORMATION ON THE BUILDING
The Pierre Mendès France building was defined after reflection and dialogue with the local stakeholders concerned by the restructuring it and the following needs were clearly identified:
- Creation of a "House of associations" type structure
- Provision of a large multipurpose room with a capacity of 400 seats
- Creation of offices, activity rooms and the Municipal Council room
A new nerve center welcoming associations and bringing together public services in the city center was therefore emerging. This new service center near the Town Hall and the Communal Social Action Center (CCAS) will generate new dynamics and synergies.
To cope with the acoustic complexity of the building, a floating slab with FZH2M+Sylomer® jacking supports were used to decouple the slab in the multipurpose room.
CARI AQUITAINE FAYAT was responsible for installing acoustic floating slabs on FZH2M+Sylomer® Jack up mounts, with the assistance of a technical team of AMC MECANOCAUCHO.
The technical team of
AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® participated in the selection of the floating slab support according to the specifications of the Acoustic consultant.
AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® follows up acoustic projects from project stage to installation. In order to simplify the positioning of the FZH2M+Sylomer® Jack up mounts, AMC-MECANOCAUCHO uses project Autocad files and positions the jack up mounts on the same Autocad file.
