The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Thoumieux Hotel, in Paris. Taking advantage of the expansion of the local, it was decided to install a floating slab to meet the high acoustic requirements and guarantee comfort for hotel guests.
This extension of the restaurant improves the reception capacity of the hotel-restaurant complex while preserving a good quality acoustic environment, both for customers and the neighbourhood.
To cope with the acoustic complexity of the restaurant, FZH2M+Sylomer® jack up mounts were used to decouple the floating slab of the restaurant room.
Additionally, one of the requirements was the installation of rock wool under the slab. In order to be able to carry out this operation and not interfere with the installation of the FZH2M+Sylomer® jack up mounts, the latter were installed on TSR+Sylomer® mounts. In this way, it was possible to save the height of the rock wool and provide an additional acoustic level thanks to the Sylomer® base of the TSR+Sylomer®
.
MGE SERVICES was responsible for the installation of acoustic floating slab on FZH2M+Sylomer® jack up mounts, with the support of a technical team from AMC MECANOCAUCHO®.
The technical team of AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® carried out the selection of the mounts for the floating slab according to the specifications of the acoustic consultant Philippe RANCHIN.
AMC MECANOCAUCHO® supervises acoustic achievements from the project stage to the installation. In order to simplify the positioning of FZH2M+Sylomer® jack up mounts of the floating slab, AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® uses the Autocad files of the project and places the mounts on the same Autocad file.
