AMC-MECANOCAUCHO is growing. New R+D staff is being incorporated, new injection presses, new lab test equipment and Vibration acquisition equipment, new antivibration mount ranges and new technical offices worldwide.
These new offices will be constructed in before the 50th anniversary of AMC-MECANOCAUCHO. The facilities will provide a 360 degrees vision of the landscape, having a special view to Hernio mountain, main symbol for local employees of AMC-MECANOCAUCHO. On this picture, a view of the pillars that will support the second floor is shown.
Pictures of the Pillars using the Sylomer HS3000. Representation of new AMC-MECANOCACHO office. The new offices will allow a better interaction between departments and overall teamwork, first floor will incorporate a Noise and Vibration demonstration showrooms where customers and distributors will be able to receive technical trainings.
The elastic suspension of the new offices will be a relevant measure to reduce noise and vibration transmitted from factory to the offices. This will contribute to the comfort and productivity of the AMC-MECANOCAUCHO team.
AMC-ENGINEERING, THE PROCEDURE TO SELECT THE CORRECT ELASTIC BEARING OF FOR EACH PILLAR. Based on the info from structural engineers, the technical dpt of AMC-MECANOCAUCHO was able to know the magnitude of the loading points per column.
Vibration measurements taken on the structure of the building by the technical manager Mr Jon Irazustabarrena, showed predominant disturbing frequencies ranging 125Hz to 200Hz.
Based on these technical data the High Resilient Bearing HS 3000 Sylodyn was selected, as the insertion loss achieved on the building was ranging from -30,3 dB at 125Hz (97% vibration isolation level) to -38,1 dB at 200Hz (99% Vibration isolation level)
Each point bearing will receive 95 Tons, on a dimension of only 54x70cm size point bearing, where the material will be loaded at its 68% of maximum load. The deflection per point bearing will be close to 1,1 mm having a dynamic modulus of elasticity of 54.51 N/mm².
The cost/performance ratio of this solution is optimal as only 10 pads of 54x70 cm have been used whilst the expected isolation value is higher than 97%.
