9V-SH Anti-Seismic Spring Isolator
Nine-spring anti-seismic spring isolator with static deflection up to 50 mm (2 inches) and a natural frequency as low as 3 Hz, designed for high loads.
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® 9V-SH Anti-Seismic Spring Isolator is designed for equipment requiring high load capacity, high-performance low-frequency vibration isolation, and mechanical protection under seismic conditions.
With a static deflection of up to 50 mm (2 inches), the springs can achieve natural frequencies as low as 3 Hz, providing effective isolation for low-speed equipment or machinery generating very low-frequency vibration.
Its nine steel spring configuration provides high load capacity while maintaining the large deflection required for effective low-frequency vibration isolation.
An integrated leveling system facilitates equipment adjustment. A Sylomer® layer beneath the spring isolator also helps reduce the transmission of mid- and high-frequency vibration that may propagate through the steel springs.
The integrated seismic restraint system limits excessive equipment movement under seismic loads while allowing the movement required for effective vibration isolation during normal operation.
Technical characteristics
The mounts are able to reach low natural frequencies from 3 to 5 Hz. The spring combined with Sylomer® is able to provide high isolation at low-medium-high frequencies.
The curves are showing the deflection and natural frequencies according to the load of the spring. Working range temperature from -30°C to +70°C. Short term higher temperatures are possible.
