SH Vibration Isolator

Vibration isolator with high vertical load capacity and low radial stiffness, designed to accommodate large lateral movements and compensate for misalignment.

AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® SH vibration isolators are designed to withstand high vertical static loads and occasional compressive overloads, while maintaining low vertical deflection.

Their design combines high vertical stiffness with low radial stiffness, allowing large lateral movements without generating excessive forces on the machine or its supporting structure.

This characteristic is particularly beneficial in installations where it is necessary to accommodate misalignment, installation tolerances, or relative movement between different components of the machine.

The SH vibration isolator consists of a circular elastomeric element combined with metal reinforcements and two square bases with four mounting holes, providing a robust and stable installation.

SH vibration isolators are particularly suitable for industrial machinery and heavy equipment requiring high vertical load capacity combined with high flexibility in the radial direction.

Technical characteristics

The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® type SH mounts are designed for long lasting heavy duty applications. They can be supplied in 3 different rubber hardnesses and 3 different sizes of mount to suit applications where the compression load per mount is between 2 to 40 Tons.

Easy installation

The bell housing protects the rubber from ozone and UV radiation, while also preventing contact with diesel, oils, or other chemicals that could damage it.
