AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® 9 AMC Anti-Seismic Spring Isolators incorporate nine high-deflection steel springs, allowing them to support very high loads while maintaining the vertical flexibility required for effective low-frequency vibration isolation.
The nine-spring configuration provides a particularly high load capacity while maintaining a low natural frequency, helping reduce the transmission of vibration from the equipment to the supporting structure.
Under normal operating conditions, the springs have the freedom of movement required for effective vibration isolation. Under exceptional or seismic loads, an integrated seismic restraint system limits excessive equipment movement and helps maintain its mechanical integrity.
This robust design combines very high load capacity, low-frequency vibration isolation, and seismic protection within a single spring isolator.
9 AMC spring isolators are particularly suitable for heavy equipment incorporating moving or rotating components, including refrigeration units, air handling units, fans, pumps, compressors, generator sets, and other large HVAC or industrial equipment.
