The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® 6V-SH Anti-Seismic Spring Isolator is designed for equipment requiring high load capacity and high-performance low-frequency vibration isolation, combined with mechanical protection under seismic conditions.
With a static deflection of up to 50 mm (2 inches), the springs can achieve natural frequencies as low as 3 Hz, providing effective isolation for low-speed equipment or machinery generating very low-frequency vibration.
Its six steel spring configuration provides high load capacity while maintaining the high deflection required for effective low-frequency vibration isolation.
A Sylomer® layer complements the action of the springs by reducing the transmission of mid- and high-frequency vibration that may propagate through the steel springs. The combination of springs + Sylomer® therefore provides effective vibration isolation over a wide frequency range.
The spring isolator also incorporates an integrated leveling system and an anti-slip rubber base. Under exceptional or seismic loads, the integrated seismic restraint system limits excessive equipment movement while allowing the movement required for effective vibration isolation under normal operating conditions.
The 6V-SH range is particularly suitable for HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, air handling units, pumps, fans, compressors, generator sets, and other heavy mechanical equipment.

The mounts are able to reach low natural frequencies from 3 to 5 Hz. The spring combined with Sylomer® is able to provide high isolation at low-medium-high frequencies.
The curves are showing the deflection and natural frequencies according to the load of the spring. Working range temperature from -30°C to +70°C. Short term higher temperatures are possible.
