The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® 1V-SR Anti-Seismic Spring Isolator is designed for equipment requiring high load capacity, effective low-frequency vibration isolation, and mechanical protection under seismic conditions.
Its high-deflection steel spring provides a low natural frequency, effectively reducing the transmission of low-frequency vibration. A Sylomer® layer complements the spring by reducing the transmission of mid- and high-frequency vibration, thereby extending the effective vibration isolation range.
The isolator also incorporates an integrated leveling system for precise equipment height adjustment and an anti-slip rubber base.
Under exceptional or seismic loads, the integrated seismic restraint system limits excessive equipment movement while allowing the movement required for effective vibration isolation under normal operating conditions.
The 1V-SR range is particularly suitable for HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, pumps, fans, compressors, generator sets, and other heavy mechanical equipment requiring both vibration isolation and seismic protection.
The mounts are able to reach low natural frequencies from 3 to 5 Hz. The spring combined with Sylomer® is able to provide high isolation at low-medium-high frequencies.
The curves are showing the deflection and natural frequencies according to the load of the spring. Working range temperature from -30°C to +70°C. Short term higher temperatures are possible.
