AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Anti-Seismic Vibrabsorber + Sylomer® V-SR Spring Isolators are designed for equipment requiring high load capacity, low-frequency vibration isolation, and mechanical protection under seismic conditions.
With a static deflection of up to 30 mm (1.5 inches), the springs provide natural frequencies as low as 4 Hz, ensuring effective isolation of low-frequency vibrations.
The Sylomer® layer helps reduce the transmission of medium- and high-frequency vibrations that may propagate through the steel springs. The spring + Sylomer® combination therefore provides effective vibration isolation over a wide frequency range.
An integrated seismic restraint system limits excessive vertical and horizontal movement of the equipment under exceptional loads, while allowing the movement required for effective vibration isolation under normal operating conditions.
The V-SR range combines high load capacity, high deflection, low natural frequency, and seismic protection. It is particularly suitable for HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, pumps, fans, compressors, generator sets, and other heavy mechanical equipment installed in seismic zones.
