The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® 3 AMC Spring Mount is designed for the vibration isolation of machinery and equipment incorporating rotating or reciprocating components, which may generate dynamic forces and vibration during operation.
Its three steel spring configuration provides a high load capacity whilst maintaining the high elasticity required for effective vibration isolation.
The high elasticity of the springs enables natural frequencies from 3.5 to 8 Hz, effectively reducing the transmission of low-frequency vibration and dynamic forces to the supporting structure.
Reducing vibration transmission helps protect the machine and its components against dynamic stresses and fatigue, whilst limiting the propagation of vibration and structure-borne noise to adjacent structures.
Depending on the configuration, the spring mount can incorporate a rubber or Sylomer® base, improving decoupling from the supporting structure and further reducing the transmission of frequencies that may propagate through the steel springs.
