The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Anti-Vibration Bobbins and Buffers are rubber-to-metal elastic elements designed for a wide range of vibration isolation, movement limitation and shock absorption applications.
The bobbins consist of an elastomer vulcanised to metal inserts. They are primarily designed to work in compression, although they can also operate in shear depending on the application. Their elasticity helps to reduce the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise between the equipment and its supporting structure.
The rubber buffers are designed to limit movement and absorb energy from impacts or at the end of travel, helping to reduce transmitted forces, noise and shock loads on the structure.
Available in a wide range of diameters, heights, rubber hardnesses and fixing configurations, they provide a simple, economical and versatile choice for motors, fans, pumps, electrical and electronic equipment, machine tools, mobile machinery and industrial equipment.
