The Akustik Floor Spring AFS are spring mounts designed for floating floors requiring high-performance acoustic and vibration isolation, particularly at low frequencies.
The combination of helical steel springs and Sylomer® provides effective isolation over a wide frequency range. The springs provide low-frequency isolation, while the Sylomer® contributes to improved isolation at higher frequencies and helps reduce the transmission of structure-borne sound.
The range is available with different spring stiffnesses, allowing the load capacity and natural frequency of the system to be matched to the requirements of each project.
The mounts can be installed directly beneath the floor or integrated into a supporting framework, providing considerable installation flexibility. They are particularly suitable for floating floors, sports halls, studios, plant rooms and machine rooms requiring high-performance acoustic and vibration isolation.
