AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Helical Wire Rope Isolators consist of two metal plates connected by a stainless steel wire rope wound in a helical configuration.
This compact and robust design provides uniform radial stiffness through 360°, ensuring consistent mechanical behaviour regardless of the radial direction of the applied load. The wire rope also provides high damping and effectively absorbs vibrations, shocks and large movements.
Thanks to their symmetrical configuration, these isolators do not require a specific radial orientation during installation, simplifying assembly and ensuring consistent behaviour in all radial directions.
They are particularly suitable for mobile applications, on-board equipment, transport systems and industrial equipment subjected to multidirectional vibrations, repeated shocks or harsh environmental conditions.
