The Sylomer® ViscoSpring Platform is a resilient platform specifically designed for weightlifting and strength training areas, where repeated dropping of weights can generate high levels of impact noise and vibration transmitted into the building structure.
The system combines steel springs with Sylomer® elements to absorb impact energy and reduce its transmission into the floor. The springs also incorporate a viscous damping system that rapidly dissipates residual energy after each impact and limits platform oscillation after weights are dropped.
This combination of springs, Sylomer® and viscous damping provides low dynamic stiffness, high impact energy absorption and rapid stabilisation of the platform.
Its modular design allows simple installation and adaptation to different loads and configurations. It is particularly suitable for gyms, fitness centres, free-weight areas and weightlifting facilities requiring effective impact isolation and reduced transmission into the building structure.
