The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Anti-Seismic Vibrabsorber +Sylomer® V-SR spring mounts are designed for equipment requiring high load capacity, low-frequency vibration isolation and mechanical protection under seismic loads.
With a static deflection of up to 30 mm, the steel springs provide natural frequencies down to 4 Hz, ensuring effective isolation of low-frequency vibrations.
The Sylomer® layer reduces the transmission of medium- and high-frequency vibrations that may propagate through the steel springs. The combination of steel spring and Sylomer® therefore provides effective vibration isolation over a broad frequency range.
An integrated seismic restraint system limits excessive vertical and horizontal movement of the equipment under exceptional loading conditions, while allowing the freedom of movement required for effective vibration isolation during normal operation.
The V-SR range combines high load capacity, high deflection, low natural frequency and seismic protection. It is particularly suitable for HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, pumps, fans, compressors, generator sets and other heavy technical equipment installed in seismic areas.
