SPS Vibration Isolators

Vibration isolators designed for shock absorption and vibration control in equipment suspensions.

The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® SPS vibration isolators are specifically designed for applications requiring high shock absorption capacity combined with effective vibration control.

Their design combines a cylindrical outer housing with a conical inner metal insert, with two elastomer elements positioned between them. This configuration helps control motion and progressively dissipate the energy generated by shocks and dynamic loads.

Thanks to their geometry and damping capacity, SPS vibration isolators are particularly suitable for mobile equipment, on-board machinery, and systems subjected to shocks, impacts, or transient motion, where mechanical protection of the equipment is as important as vibration reduction.

Technical characteristics

Due to their design , SPS mounts can work with compression and tensile loads , isolating effectively by using the friction of the rubber sections with the inner surfaces of the assembled metal parts. It is most effective in applications where high frequency vibrations are predominant. Various rubber compounds are available for assembly depending upon the applications being considered, ie , high temperatures, oil and diesel resistance, ageing resistance against Ozone attack for example .
