The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® BRB vibration isolators feature a high-profile elastomer section that allows the rubber to work in both compression and shear. This design provides greater deflection and lower natural frequencies, improving vibration isolation compared with stiffer captive isolators.
The captive design incorporates an integral fail-safe restraint that limits excessive movement and helps keep the equipment secured when subjected to tensile forces, shock or high dynamic loads.
Available in a wide range of sizes and rubber hardnesses, BRB vibration isolators cover a broad range of loads and are particularly suitable for rotating machinery, engines, generator sets and mobile equipment exposed to vibration, shock, oil or fuel splash, and demanding environmental conditions.
