Vibration isolation for marine power generation systems

Name: Marine generator set isolation
Brand: AMC Mecanocaucho

Anti vibration mounts for marine generator sets

Marine generator sets produce continuous dynamic loads and structure-borne vibration that can be transmitted throughout the vessel. Properly selected anti-vibration mounts resiliently decouple the generator set from the hull, reducing vibration transmission, improving onboard acoustic comfort, and protecting both the vessel structure and adjacent equipment.

Solutions

Marine generator set vibration isolation

1. Marine Generator Set: Onboard electrical power generation equipment designed to operate reliably in demanding marine environments.

2. BRBX Anti-Vibration Mount: Stainless steel anti-vibration mount that resiliently decouples the generator set from the supporting structure. Specifically designed for corrosive, humid, and marine environments.

3. Steel Base Frame: Load-bearing steel structure that distributes the generator set loads and provides a rigid, stable mounting platform.

Advice

AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® anti vibration mount rubber to metal bonding quality on gensets

The good rubber to metal bonding properties of the anti vibration mounts from AMC MECANOCAUCHO® save the engine from falling from the frame when the genset fell down from a service truck.
