In leisure craft, the resilient mounting of the engine plays a key role in reducing the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise to the hull.
The isolation system must be selected according to the engine mass, centre of gravity, operating speed range, cylinder configuration and propulsion arrangement. AMC-MECANOCAUCHO offers a range of marine engine mounts and elastomer compounds designed to provide the required balance between vibration isolation, damping, engine movement and system stability.

Marine engine mounts are installed between the engine and the vessel structure to elastically decouple the propulsion system and reduce the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise to the hull.
AMC-MECANOCAUCHO offers different configurations of Marine Engine Mounts, BRB and BSB, available with natural rubber and high-damping AMC SDD Rubber compounds. High-damping compounds help control excessive engine movement while maintaining effective vibration isolation, making them particularly suitable for eccentric engines and 1-, 2- and 3-cylinder engines, where engine movement can be significant.
Height-adjustment systems facilitate accurate engine positioning and alignment during installation, helping achieve the correct mounting conditions for the propulsion system.
