The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Marine X anti-vibration mounts are designed for the vibration isolation of marine engines and onboard equipment requiring excellent corrosion resistance and optimised dynamic behaviour.
Their design allows the elastomer to work in compression and shear, providing differentiated stiffness in each axis. This characteristic helps control engine movement whilst optimising vibration isolation in the directions where it is most required.
Manufactured with stainless steel metal components, Marine X mounts provide excellent resistance to corrosion and the marine atmosphere, making them particularly suitable for installations exposed to humidity, water spray and demanding marine environments.
They are particularly recommended for marine diesel engines, generator sets and onboard auxiliary equipment where the installation requires a combination of vibration isolation, stability and corrosion resistance.
The top metal hood protects the rubber from the Ozone, UV rays, diesel or oils which damage the rubber.
The metal parts have a suitable anticorrosive treatment for outdoor applications. RoHs compliant.
They have an interlocking metal component that provides a fail-safe protection for mobile applications. This device limits vertical movement when the mounting is submitted to shock inputs.
The mounts are clearly identified, as the baseplates are engraved with the type and hardness, which makes it possible to easily recognise the part even after several years of use.
The top cap has a cross shaped indentation which enhances rigidity on mobile applications and also permits oils or liquids to flow off the mounting.
