The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® VD anti-vibration mounts are rubber-to-metal mounts designed to provide high elasticity and effective vibration isolation. Their geometry allows the elastomer to work simultaneously in compression and shear, providing high deflection under load.
The mount consists of two metal parts bonded to an elastomeric element, forming a compact and robust assembly. The integrated fixing points simplify mounting and allow straightforward installation on different types of machinery and equipment.
Thanks to their high deflection and low stiffness, VD mounts provide low natural frequencies and effectively reduce the transmission of vibration to the supporting structure.
They are particularly suitable for rotating machinery, saildrive transmissions, generator sets, pumps, compressors and industrial equipment requiring high levels of vibration isolation without excessive equipment movement.
