The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Akustik GB + Sylomer® range has been specifically developed for suspended ceiling installations in mass timber construction where the acoustic hanger is fixed to the side of timber joists, allowing the ceiling to remain flush with the underside of the structure.
Its compact side-mounted design maximises available room height while the integrated Sylomer® microcellular polyurethane element effectively reduces the transmission of structure-borne vibration and noise.
Designed exclusively for timber structures, the Akustik GB + Sylomer® provides a simple, reliable and space-saving solution for suspended ceilings in mass timber construction. Corrosion-resistant steel components ensure long-term durability.
The Sylomer® microcellular polyurethane material provides superior isolation than rubber and/or cork materials and two versions are available depending on the load capacity required.
Type A is supplied with a rod to fix to a channel/bracket and Type B has an integrated nut for quick fixing of a suspension rod.
All metal parts have anti-corrosion zinc-plating.
