The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Hydraulic Cone Mount combines the characteristics of a conical mount with those of a hydraulic mount, providing effective vibration isolation, high lateral stability and excellent movement control.
Its conical design provides low vertical stiffness, which improves vibration isolation, while maintaining high radial stiffness to enhance the stability of suspended equipment and limit lateral movement.
The mount also incorporates an internal hydraulic fluid that provides additional damping when subjected to dynamic movement. This damping helps to control high-amplitude movements and reduce vibration amplification when passing through resonance.
By combining low vertical stiffness, high radial stiffness and hydraulic damping, the Hydraulic Conical Mount can provide improved vibration isolation compared with a conventional conical mount while maintaining excellent movement control.

AMC MECANOCAUCHO® hydraulic shock absorbers have an advanced breakaway device inside the bearing that prevents tensile forces on the elastomer by limiting its upward vibration stoke. The newly-developed internal structure of the vibration dampener consists of a metal part system. The elastomer is vulcanised to the whole of this. This prevents a loss of hydraulic fluid should the vibration dampener be subject to great dynamic overloads.
The thickness of the metal parts ensures that the dampener is strong enough for mobile applications. The metal parts are treated with a resistant corrosion protection for outdoor use.
