The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Marine XT anti-vibration mounts are specifically designed for the elastic suspension of marine engines generating high thrust loads, whilst providing a high level of vibration isolation.
Their design allows the elastomer to work in compression and shear, providing differentiated stiffness in all three axes. A high longitudinal stiffness helps limit engine movement caused by propeller thrust, whilst lower stiffness in the other directions promotes effective isolation of engine-generated vibrations.
This combination provides an excellent balance between vibration isolation, engine stability and movement control, particularly in installations where the forces transmitted through the propulsion system are significant.
Their robust construction and resistance to oil, diesel fuel and demanding marine environmental conditions make Marine XT mounts particularly suitable for propulsion engines and other onboard equipment subjected to high dynamic loads.

AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Marine XT anti vibration mounts have a special design that provides 3 different stiffness values in the 3 different directions, the highest being the one in the longitudinal direction. This design allows the mounts to face high longitudinal loads (thrust loads produced by marine engines) while their low lateral and vertical stiffness values allow them to keep a high isolation level against the main excitations from the crankshaft of the engine (which occurs at the plane with the lowest stiffness values of the mount).
