The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® marine exhaust mounts are designed to provide resilient suspension for marine engine exhaust pipes and systems, reducing the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise to the vessel structure.
Exhaust systems are simultaneously subjected to engine vibration, dynamic loads and thermal expansion. Rigid mounting can transmit these forces to the hull and surrounding structures, generating noise and mechanical stresses in the exhaust pipework and its mounting points.
The range includes different configurations designed either to support and stabilise the exhaust line or to allow the movement required for thermal expansion. The resilient suspension therefore reduces vibration transmission while accommodating movement of the exhaust system.
These mounts are suitable for main engines, generator sets and auxiliary equipment on board, helping to improve acoustic comfort as well as the mechanical reliability of the installation.
