Marine exhaust mount for elastic support and control of exhaust pipe movement, with fail-safe mechanical restraint.

The SFT AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® marine exhaust mounts are designed to provide elastic support for exhaust pipes and reduce the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise to the vessel structure.

Their design supports and stabilises the exhaust pipe whilst accommodating movements caused by thermal expansion and contraction of the exhaust system. This helps reduce mechanical stresses transmitted to the pipework, connections and supporting structure.

The fail-safe design provides mechanical restraint and is capable of withstanding tensile and compressive loads arising from vessel movement and dynamic loads within the installation.

SFT mounts are particularly suitable for marine engine and generator exhaust systems requiring a combination of vibration isolation, stability and mechanical safety.

Technical characteristics

Their particular design suspends ducts and provide a lateral stability. There are 11 different models to suit hanging loads from 40Kg to 2000Kg.

All the SFT Marine Exhaust mounts are equipped with interlocking metal parts to withstand to high compression and traction loads. This failsafe feature provides an extra safety for the application.
