The SFC AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® marine exhaust mounts are designed to provide elastic support for heavy exhaust systems, with load capacities ranging from 2,700 to 3,400 kg.
Their robust design accommodates high static and dynamic loads whilst reducing the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise to the vessel structure. An integrated fail-safe device provides mechanical restraint against tensile loads and the dynamic forces encountered in marine service.
SFC mounts also incorporate a thermal insulation plate designed to limit heat transfer between the exhaust pipe and the mount. Their design accommodates movements associated with thermal expansion and contraction of the exhaust system.
Thanks to their high load capacity, mechanical safety and corrosion resistance, SFC mounts are particularly suitable for exhaust systems of high-power marine engines and generator sets.
Their particular design support ducts and provide a lateral stability. There are 4 different models to suit hanging loads from 270Kg to 3400Kg.
All the SFC Marine Exhaust mounts are equipped with interlocking metal parts to withstand to high compression and traction loads. This failsafe feature provides an extra safety for the application. They also incorporate a thermal insulation plate to prevent the compound to be exposed to high temperatures that may put in risk the thermostability of the elastic compound.
